I was expecting a lot more from this amber, but definitely not my favourite – not hugely interesting or exciting.

Tastes like that manky looking satsuma, you know, that last satsuma in the fruit bowl, the one that you thought, I’ll risk it about, but then wish you’d just slung it because it tasted rank.

A big fan of Kveik beers but not of the Red style. Tart.

I’m not normally a fan of Wylam, but this is a delicious exception.
This Amber & Red Ale is lovingly brewed by the fantastic Wylam.
This tasty brew comes in a 440ml can and is 5.8% ABV.
A contemporary amber beer fermented with the unique Norwegian farmstead Hornindal Kveik strain.
Fermented high to increase citrus ester intensity and spurred on with a whole cone kettle hop soak of Citra, Amarillo and Cascade.
A late schedule addition of fresh zingy orange zest brings together a subtle, soft resinous finale on this sun setting quencher…
