This is Centennial three ways. I don’t think I’ve had a single hop Centennial before. Based on this it’s a bit of an all rounder. Certainly no joose freak, but there is something in there. There’s a bit of savoury pepperyness, a bit of earth. Bitterness is at a solid level. There’s the usual Wylam quality mouth feel, it’s light and easy to drink. Centennial strikes me as a good hop to throw into the mix to balance things out, the chilled out bass player to anchor the mad drummer and ego ballooning lead singer.

Pours hazy orange. Smells of tangerines. Tastes sharp and hoppy, lime, grapefruit, earthy resin, bitter end. On the edge of metallic. 3.5

Lovely bitter single hop IPA, centennial is perfect for a DDH, not too overpowering.
A single hop citrus pale dedicated to the divine disclosure of the hop that is CENTENNIAL. Whole cone in the kettle with a zingy dry hop addition using new season Centennial T90 and Cryo hops. Big clean hits of pink grapefruit, lemon, tangerine and lime with a resinous bitter finish.

Probably the third best wylam I’ve had. Special, lots of fruit flavour and bitter notes

Nice but I think the resin took over
