Extremely tart red berries. Very sour indeed. Nice!

Sour cherry and red berry on the nose which follows through in the flavour; sharp berry accompanied by funky wild undertones that leaves a dry finish. A beer to be savoured.

Lot of yeast, lot of vinegar. I struggle with vinegar acidity but there’s some great flavours in here from sour cherry and red berries. Tart finish with more sweetness balancing well with the vinegar.

The Redwood Project began in 2013 when Wild Beer foraged late summer fruits from around the brewery. These rested in red wine barrels for a full year with some of their wildest beer before being packaged. Redwood varies year on year based on the fruits available and barrels selected. The mix of berries and barrels culminate in a crescendo of sweetness, roasted oak and vibrant acidity.
