Even though it’s a milk stout, 4.7% is not a stout IMO. This was disappointing.

it’s a milk chocolatey caramel fudge stout that tastes like a milk shake with alcohol in, very tasty if you like that kind of thing, not quite as good in a bottle as I remember if being from Cask hence the 4* not 5

As it says on the tin – very smooth milk stout. The caramel is a very delicate footnote, would have liked it to be a little stronger towards the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, very easy to drink, would recommend.

Black beer with a short and fleeting beige head. Aromas of roasted, chocolate and caramel, with a hint of licorice. The taste is roasted, with the softness of caramel and chocolate, suppleness of lactose. Sweetened-salted with a low bitter but notes of vanilla and smoke.

Very smooth and very sweet but the sea salt reigns it in and make this very drinkable. The intense sweetness of the caramel and chocolate and the sourness of the lactose combine well together and though I found this to be too salty on first try, this time it lived up to its reputation.

One of my favourite stouts from probably my favourite brewery on the planet. Was skeptical about this one from the description, but as usual Wild get it right. The salt tempers the sweet, the malt marries the cocoa – it’s wonderful. All too drinkable.

Sweet & salty roll over your palate in this deliciously smooth milk stout. Lactose, caramel, Valrhona cocoa nibs and Cornish Sea Salts combine to create any dessert beer-lover’s dream
