Trappist ales are always good. Not had a tripel before so gave this a go. Nice, earthy tones belied the strength of the ale. Would buy again.

A boozy and fruity aroma. Pours amber in the glass. This tripel is quite sweet and fruity with lots of deep stonefruit notes. Although its very sweet, its well balanced, so its never overpowering. Theres also some bitter tones that come through on the finish alongside an earthy yeast flavour. A great little tripel, packed full of flavour.

Never really thought about belgian beers, but this changed my mind…sweet, but not too sweet, and loads and loads of stone fruit in the taste. This is one great ale. Will be ordering this again !

These monks really know their beers. I’m usually more of a stout or porter man, but this trappist tripel has a strong taste that manages to capture both the deep notes of a porter, and the refreshingness of an IPA. Definitely worth a try.
