Another spot on pale ale from one of the most reliable breweries in the UK. Do Verdant make a bad beer?

A tropical aroma. Pours a hazy pale gold in the glass. Starts very creamy with a smooth mouthfeel. You then get bitter tropical fruit flavour with subtle notes of lime citrus in the background. Towards the end, the creaminess subsides and your left with a satisfying bitter tropical finish. The quality of some of these NEIPA’s just now is unreal and this is another example of one done very well. At 4.8%, it’s very sessionable too. I also have to add that the can design is by @jamiemedlinmarineart and is absolutely stunning.

Underwhelming for verdant. Felt more like very dry hopped pale, like a tea bag beer.

This Pale Ale is lovingly brewed by the fantastic Verdant.
This tasty brew comes in a 440ml can and is 4.8% ABV.
The #CornishCreatives series continues with a brand new pale featuring artwork from the incredibly talented @jamiemedlinmarineart. The Verdant team love Jamie’s work, he’s an amazing talent known for his photorealistic paintings…yes paintings!
The 4.8% pale ale utilises our lighter and crispier base pale recipe and is loaded up to the gunnels with Motueka and Ekuanot hops on the both hot and cold side. Motueka brings all the creamy lime juice and pairs brilliantly with the citrus and tropics of Ekuanot. A thirst quencher with serious substance.
