Take one grapefruit. Mash it up with plenty of passionfruit & a sprinkling of kiwi. Call it a Nelson Sauvin hop. Add it to a kettle full of boiling wort, and Bob’s your mother’s brother: you’ve got a cracking example of this treasured beauty from New Zealand. A rare emerald in the world of brewing, and something to be enjoyed in full appreciation of Nelson’s provenance. The tropical aroma coupled with medium dryness gives this beer a refreshing tang that explodes but subsides just as quickly.
