Tried this brew as I was munching away at some Bombay Mix and loved it. The bottle blurb bangs on about all the fruit but really I thought it was well balanced. A couple more straight into the basket for next month. Decent price too. Seen some people dissing the label artwork but I liked the understated packaging which is probably why
this brew surprised me as I didn’t see it coming and so wasn’t expecting much. Well tasty I thought, at least it was with me mix.

I was expecting this to be “just another grapefruity IPA” but actually the subtle malty notes really added another dimension. And I could actually taste the tropical fruits the description mentioned (guava, passionfruit) as well as the usual grapefruit/citrus IPA flavours which is not the case for most. Probably my favourite basic IPA so far.

Gold pour, small white head with some retention. Aroma of fruity hops and caramel malts. Taste is quite malty with a good fruitiness of grapefruit and passionfruit. Moderate body and soft carbonation. Very good.

A new beer for me from Thornbridge. Quite a good flavour with fruit predominating. The aftertaste is malty, which perhaps is not great with all that fruit. Noetheless, if it was on in a pub, I would give it a go on draught.
