One of those you will like or hate! Not as herbal or spicy as expected, so for me, I’m in the like camp ? love a beating with birch twigs! ??

Very woody – definitely fits the birch and quite herby, but ultimately feels a little OTT and not very drinkable over a full bottle. Bit of an odd one.

Sweet and refreshing. Hard to believe that flavour comes from birch leaves! Wonderful taste

I hadn’t even heard of ‘birch ale’ or Tanker if i’m honest. This was a very light lager style beer, very drinkable on a hot summers day.

Never tried birch ale before. Quite nice but probably not suitable for all people.

First time I’m trying a birch ale so I’m not sure what they’re supposed to taste like, but it tastes very herb-y? Almost like italian seasoning? Despite that it is very crisp, not sure I would get this one again.

Quite tangy and fruity. Would go well with a rich meaty meal, or cheese.

Very refreshing light taste. Mellow hop taste followed by birch notes and a slightly sweet aftertaste reminiscent of tree sap (in a good way).

Crazy, herby, interesting beer. Do they drink in saunas in Estonia?
Here we have the essence of a traditional Sauna captured in a bottle. (No sweat in the brew, we promise). Expect a strong birch aroma and super refreshing flavour. A perfect accompaniment to sauna living, and also for the short but intense Nordic Summers. Brewed using real birch leaves, the same ones used as whips in saunas. An exhilarating drop.
