This Stout is lovingly brewed by the fantastic Stu Mostow.
This tasty brew comes in a 330ml bottle and is 10.0% ABV.
The good people at Stu Mostow say:
In our new WRCLW beer, we decided to recreate the taste and aroma of a French breakfast classic, namely French Toast! To achieve this effect, we have enriched the extractive and strong basis of Imperial Stout with lactose, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla, which highlighted the nature of the pastry. Finally, we saturated it with nitrogen to enhance the dessert feeling and top the beer with fine bubble foam. A thick creamy dessert of a beer

Sweet, maply and roasted goodness. More please.

A little bit bland for me. I much prefer the Puhaste stouts.

Sweet, strong and boozy with lovely maple taste

More reminiscent of a sherry with its viscosity and didn’t appeal much in the flavour. After the first few sips was overwhelming
James –
Very nice complex stout, after taste could be better
Eif –
Another amazing effort! You can really taste the maple, cinnamon and vanilla. More please!
Jonathan –
Boozy, thick, rich but not sweet

Fantastic. A must buy for any pastry stout fans

OH Yes. This is a good one. Little reminiscent of De Moersleutel’s Mexicake but without the chili. One of my favorite beers of the year so no small compliment there. Bags of flavor, mouth feel, smooth but with a little kick
Lucy –
Absolutely delicious!
Damian –
Cinnamon winner
Simon –
Sticky, wholesome….bliss!!

Cinnamon Danish pastry, those German Christmas biscuits lebkuchen? Maple syrup with liquorice, sweet but the alcohol (10v) has a drying element. This is sticky sweet like the icing on a Danish it’s also has a viscous mouthfeel that coats the mouth & slowly & insidiously warms you in that glowing way a good & strong Stout does, you know it’s strong & reason says that but that warmth has you reaching for another like a duvet on a cold winter’s day.
