Could almost be breakfast in a bottle if your breakfast is 5.7%. It’s a sweeter than normal tasting stout with a chocolatey palate and oaty aftertaste. Maybe not my favourite but it’s still a nice stout that i’d try out again sometime

BB 19/7/20 yet it didn’t want to leave the bottle & there were lumps as I poured it. Tastes of cocoa powder & milk. Barely drinkable – Very poor.

4.25 on Untappd. This beer has a head reminiscent of chocolate milkshake and it comes across in the taste too. Some will find too sweet but as a final beer after food this was better than most desserts! I don’t often order beers again but next time I order I think I’ll stick one of these in again

Why are Honestbrew still peddling this? Look at the reviews. Huge chunks of sediment, absolutely no carbonation whatsoever, had it a few months ago and was exactly the same, this came as a freebie for my increased loyalty points. It’s a shame the free beers I’m ‘rewarded’ with are the rubbish they can’t sell. Throw it out guys, it’s terrible.

Appearance is black, with a half-finger foamy light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, toasty dark malt, toffee, roast malt, chocolate fudge. Taste- smooth and chocolatey, dark chocolate, bitterness in the background, toffee, brownie, roast malt. Very smooth and slick mouthfeel, very chocolatey.

This captures the texture and mouthfeel of oats better than most oat stouts manage to. Chewy, grainy and full flavour, with chocolate and caramel sweetness balanced with a soft bitterness from the coffee flavour.
