Stunning BIPA. Berry fruits with an background herbal/earthy flavour, ending with a lingering chocolate and caramel bitterness.

A little bit overcomplicated. Mix of stouty caramel with strong bitterness more typical for Bohemian lagers. Good, drinkable, but I know they can do better.

A bit of sediment on pour….i don’t do polish but probably says pour carefully! 🙂 Piney aroma for a BIPA. Smooth & hints of coffee…Very Nice!

Stu Mostow are excellent, this beer is not the best I’ve had but it’s pretty good nonetheless. Malty, hoppy, drinkable

Slightly too bitter for me, was expecting more of a smoky dark ipa, this ended up more like a dark ale. Should have read the description.

different take on an ipa with a strong color and different, but expected, flavors

Very soft mouthfeel and light bodied, which makes this drinkable but not as substantial as I like. Stone fruits and herbal notes provide a different flavour to most black IPAs and there’s a good bitterness but a lack of roasted and chocolate flavour is a shame.

More of a hoppy stout than a black IPA really with big roast flavours from the roasted barley used. An interesting take on the style from this Polish Brewery.

This beer has a very unique sort of taste to it. You’ll either love it or hate it. I would say it tastes of smoke and coffee, really great imho, but I can see a lot of other folks not liking this one!

A beer from Poland, I chose it specifically because I like black IPAs (and it was under £3). There’s a lot to like here, a really lovely aroma, lots of the flavours you’d expect. Good darkness, with pretty sharp hops. It’s quite bitter, very dry, boozey, a little bit harsh. I quite enjoyed it.
Salamander Black is a tribute to hops. An essential beer with a full caramel flavour and strongly marked bitterness, this IPA has an herbal-resin accent together with hints of tropical fruit. For lovers of a clear bitterness.
