A gorgeous white beer, full of the citrus notes and wheaty mouthfeel normally associated with these. Cracking stuff

Classic style and from a brewery with great history. Nice example of a Wit – typical colour and with the beautiful aroma associated with the style.
Mouthfeel like it says in the books – that slight milkshake like thickness from a heavily wheat based grain bill.
Given the St Bernardus Wit is brewed in collaboration with Pierre Celis, it couldn't be a better example!

Aromas of stonefruit and wheat. Pours a dark gold in the glass. Starts on a good amount of carbonation, before you get some powerful earthy wheat flavour coming in. This then leads you through into some slightly bitter stonefruit and orange. It ends on stonefruit, as well as some earthy and musky yeast and herbal notes. Perfect in it's simplicity and great flavours. I wish I'd bought a few more of these. If you love Belgian beer and haven't tried this, get it on your list.

Spicy, smooth and full of clovey goodness. Was definitely worth a try!
This traditional witbier has been developed under supervision of the father of Hoegaarden and Celis White, master brewer Pierre Celis. This beer has been bottle-refermented, which lends it its specific taste.
