Woohoo! I really like Red Rye Ales, but only if they do what they say on the label! Great Rye spicy character. Mix that with a great hop flavour and you’ve got a winner!

If i could give half stars this would be 4.5… perhaps unfairly as i drank it on the same night as the High-Tor from Buxton… it’s slightly lacking in the initial taste and the after-taste/mouth feel, but is a wonderful blend in the middle. One of Siren’s best – and that’s saying something

Near white head left a collar on a very dark brown body. Fruity hoppy aroma. Smooth & clean on the palate with well carbonated feel. Very bitter, almost acidic. Pine, berries, citrus rind & a slight treacle taste. I’ve had some fantastic beers & one of theirs was my “Best new to me beer of 2015” but unfortunately this one isn’t for me. Worth a try.

Nice deep red ale, toffee flavours and very smooth
Spinning yarns of mystery behind the self-proclaimed femme fatale of amber ales, this beauty pours a deep red with roasted nut and spicy fruit aromas. She tastes slightly grassy, piney with light sweet fruit and smokiness & finishes with a full bodied dry bitterness that smooths out at the end.
