Pretty descent example of style. Just the usual Sakiskiu lively pourer

Tastes nice, though sadly I had the same experience as others, where the majority of the beer exploded out onto the floor and worktop. At least I had 10% left so I got to try it

Annoyingly, this one leaped out of the bottle – I lost about a third on the kitchen work surface and in the sink! Very drinkable: fruity, zesty and spicy with plenty of punch and flavour. I don’t think the witbier is supposed to be quite so fizzy. I liked what made it to the glass more than I expected – this combination works for me. I’d like to try more.

An aromatic wheat beer. Coriander and black pepper shine through with the fruits making an appearance afterwards.
Witbier is a Belgian wheat ale traditionally brewed with spices. In this brew Sakiskiu used hand peeled orange, lemon and grapefruit zest, a bit of allspice and a decent amount of coriander seeds. A big chunk of malted and flaked wheat makes this beer cloudy and straw-like in colour. Belgian Witbier yeast adds some light banana flavours and lets the spices shine through.
