A little light on flavour for my taste. Not a bad brown ale but not hitting the right notes for me

This is not an Amber ale it’s a brown ale. Would not have purchased this if the description was correct. Ok for a brown ale but not what I was expecting!

Very nice. I'm not sure how authentic it is, but it reminds me very much of an old fashioned northern premium bitter, a style that seems out of fashion and is most welcome.

Interesting taste, but as an IPA enthusiast, it wasn't really my bag. I would say it's more a brown ale, than an amber ale. Nice dessert beer.

Was skeptical about a brown ale, but this beer’s great! Deep malty flavour, loads of caramel. Really tasty

Tasty yet refreshing – a cross between a stout and an ale – a ‘Winter IPA’

Quite a malty brew. A fruity aroma with a malty, chocolaty flavour and a touch of citrus. Quite a sharp bitterness at the finish.

It won't be to everyone's taste because of the maltiness but I really liked this. Good punchy ABV but it didn't taste overly strong.
