Boozy. Definitely get the whiskey, but at the risk of drowning everything else out. Hint of chocolate
Gareth –
Wow, great collab stout, tons of depth

An aroma of whisky and dark chocolate. Pours jet black in the glass. This is a collaboration from 3 great breweries, who I know can each make a mean Imperial stout in their own right. The first thing you get is that smokey rye barrel and pure whisky flavour, that warms the back of your throat. It’s like drinking whisky but without the strength of a whiskies ABV. This leads into smooth and bitter dark chocolate, which is uplifted by the sweetness of beetroot. The beetroot flavour acts more like a sweet berry than a vegetable thankfully. It finishes on the bitterness of the dark chocolate again and a light creaminess. Thick, full bodied, smoky, sweet and bitter, they knocked it out the park with this one.

Another big booming stout from Puhaste. Excellent value for a high quality and slightly different bottle.
Alexander –
Nice and rich. Lovely beer
James –
Absolute cracker. The barrels really shine through and the beetroot adds another level to this already complex beer
Adam –
I enjoyed this, could definitely taste the rye whiskey. Going to have the next bottle when more in the mood for whiskey, which I hope will make this a great beer.
David –
Really easy to drink – I tried to reorder and it had sold out – 5/5!
Iain –
Lovely stuff. Up there with the best from this very good brewery.
Adam –
Hugely boozy. Well balanced. Vanilla flavours.
Adam –
Stunning, as usual from their Silver Series. The rye barrelling really comes through, a delicious whisky flavour is there throughout. If you get it for the beetroot, be warned, that doesn’t come through strongly, but it is complex and there is a lot going on.

Gorgeous thick sticky full bodied imperial stout from this great brewery, my favorite brewery at the moment.

Had to throw it away lol – if you had it as a shot or on ice maybe could be good – but it’s so strong it’s no longer a beer – killed me after a session

Simply Lovely sipper

Real heavy lifter. The flavours coming through this are next level. If I was loaded I’d buy a case
