Boozy and harsh, hoppy and bitter.

Too bitter and too clear for a neipa but it makes a decent ipa. Malty and somewhat bitter with citrus and pine.

Magnificent. A feeling akin to Tiger Woods hitting a mango with a 3 iron from 230 yards and I caught it with my tonsils. Fresh, hoppy and pure summer indulgence.

Having never heard of this brewer before, this was the first IPA I tried from my new subscription and was really impressed! What you get is a really tasty, full bodied IPA that has more punch than its 6.5% content suggests. Not surprised to see that it’s sold out and will certainly be ordering more once back in stock.

This is my first encounter with this Estonian brewery, and what an introduction. With a flavour profile as beautiful as the artwork on the can, this is a real winner. I’ll be looking out for more from Puhaste in the future.
