Juicy, hoppy, slightly resinous, tropical pineapple flavours. There’s plenty going on with this beer, but it’s a joy to drink!

A name that comes from that Milgram experiment into obedience. The one where it was discovered humans will fairly happily kill other humans if an authority figure tells them to. Fascinating and scary. Who say beer isn’t educational. I’m not sure why this quote was chosen. I do feel like my experience of the beer is different to a lot of the reviews I’ve seen. It’s definitely juicy, but in a different way than a lot of beers. It’s a darker, pineappley flavour. Like cordial that isn’t diluted quite right. I didn’t think it was particularly thick, or easy drinking either. ——— In fact I thought it punched every bit of its 7.4%. And then some. The beer it most reminds me of is the Kentucky Tickle Monster. That was over 16%. Fortunately, I loved that beer. This has the same mellow flavour on top of the fruit, like a sort of honey thing going on. The finish is also pretty epic. I really enjoyed taking my time with it. Though, it’s a bit odd that my experience of the experiment seems to be completely different to everyone else. Maybe that’s the point?
