Description
Pressure Drop like to mix up the aroma hops in their Pale fire and you’ll find that Pale Fire can come in different versions. It’s been hopped with Mosaic and Amarillo, Amarillo and Citra, Nelson Sauvin and others including the legendary Hop X, an English trial-hop being developed by Dr Peter Darby at Wye Hops.
About the brewery
Pressure Drop was formed in 2012 and sold their first beers in January 2013. Graham, Sam and Ben describe themselves as three blokes in a railway arch doing lots of cleaning and trying to make the tastiest beers they can. Pressure Drop is another brewery Honest Brew has meet through the LBA. The first beer we tried from Pressure Drop was their Pale Fire, a cracking beer, and we keep going back for more. Make sure you try the Stokey Brown as well.

I would have just enjoyed it more if it was a bit sweeter. Great beer.

If I’m in the mood for a pale with a bit of kick then this fits the bill, some can be a bit bland but this has a lovely balance of hops and acidity.
