This Sour Beer is lovingly brewed by the fantastic Polly’s Brew Co.
This tasty brew comes in a 440ml can and is 5.0% ABV.
The good people at Polly’s Brew Co say:
When some of your brewing heroes come to cook up a beer, it’s time to bring out the big guns! Salopian are a huge influence on Polly’s, and we were honoured when they told us they’d like to come back to North Wales and work with us again after the phenomenally successful Marches last year.
During the planning process we discovered our pals from Shropshire had never brewed a sour beer, and immediately made it our mission to rectify this. Dry-hopped to the same hopping rate of one of our IPAs, Strange Addiction absolutely bursts with massive gooseberry notes thanks to its generous hop bill of Nelson and Citra.
A beer designed specifically for this time of year; perfect for sitting back and supping in the sunshine.

Of all the beers in my latest order, this was the one I couldn’t wait to try. I’m a big fan of Salopians offerings on cask, and as a lover of all things sour, the thought of them calaborating with Polly’s on a sour beer was intriguing. As I poured this I was thinking, this is bound to disappoint. Ha ha, it didn’t, it’s awesome. It is fantastic. It’s lemon dream on steroids. It’s sour but it doesn’t quite melt your face off. I love it. The best bit is, I bought more than one can of the stuff (should have purchased a case though!). This beer needs to be continued (pretty please, pretty Polly!)

Mildly sour, refreshingly dry. A good summer drink.

Delicious, lip-smacking dry sour. Really dry with lots of fruit and a subtle saline finish.
