I’m not that familiar with the Altbier style but a very good amber beer that could easily be mistaken for a good English bitter. Lots of malt characteristics perfectly balanced by a hoppy bitterness.
Pours a deep amber colour with beautiful reddish hues. Strong malt aroma, nutty and slightly toasty, some ester notes from the yeast. More malt on the palate, bready, a bit of spicy hoppiness, full bodied but dry. Strong, long lasting bitterness.
