A fantastic series from Wylam. Enjoyed every single one of these
Christian –
Pretty standard. Not as impressive as some of their other offerings.
Vincent –
006 and 004 were particular highlights!
Michael –
This was really nice but not as good as last years box. Looking forward to seeing who is doing it in 2020.
Daniel –
Had 6 of the 7 so far, outstanding collection. TFG & the Tropical Sour a highlight
Nick –
A great mix of styles from the big hitters.
Michael –
Carl –
Good selection of beers but can’t help but wish there were a better variation in styles (4 of the 7 are IPAs) even if they were all decent enough. The imperial brown was really good though, so at least there’s that.
Adam –
Decent
Dave –
None were bad, decent enough set of beers
Jonathan –
Beautiful selection of well made beers!
Robert –
Wasn’t as impressed as id hoped to be the wylam colab was the best
Neil –
One of the best box sets in beer i’ve had in a long time. Each brewery have produced a great beer and my stand out beer has to be the Track + Northern Monk Small IPA. For a 3.3% ABV beer it packs a huge flavour punch. Will look out for this again when it comes back next year.
Daniel –
Great selection of beers, each showcasing the particular style or strength of the collaborator.
Callum –
should really get a review for each beer?! Triple Fruited Gose is exceptional though!
Rory –
2 of the beers had been oxidized but the other 5 where outstanding
Neil –
A really nice selection of beers. Suggest working your way up from the weakest to the strongest in one session with a friend.
Neil –
Tom –
Amazing selection of beers with great artwork. I can’t wait for the next version.
Jans –
Deserves 4.5 overall, some really nice beers included and awesome art work, just ordered second box.
Thomas –
Didn’t live up to expectations for me
Alison –
Great mix of IPA beers bought for a friend’s birthday and know he will love the different varieties.
Andrew –
Great selection of collabs & styles!
Mathew –
As always, the Powerhouse range this year was excellent. In there was an exceptional sour collab with Wylam and my favourite, the DIPA collab with Cloudwater. All beers were very well delivered, full of flavour without being overbearing or tinny. Always good quality!!
Pedro –
Not so great!
Mitchell –
Overall I’d say a well-rounded box, especially if you’re looking to taste various types of beer. A standout one for me was the cloudwater collab where as one I wasn’t so fond of was the imperial maple brown collab with by the river brewery. I found that one very overpowering with alcohol taste. The others were good but Im not sure I will be purchasing this box again. Definitely worth a buy if you haven’t tried any yet though 🙂
Danielle –
Second year getting this series and more impressed than last year. Great mixed case for anyone who is a fan of all the good beer coming out of the North!
David –
Kevin –
A good variety of quality beers, Cloudwater DIPA and the By The River Imperial Brown were standouts for me
Jeff –
overall very good
Lee –
Stunning collection of beers and for my money better than the last few Rainbow Projects.
George –
Great selection of beers that reflects the current landscape of craft
Antony –
Great selection of beers, showcasing some of britain’s Best breweries and some of today’s most popular styles. The can artwork is funky as hell, too.
Lewis –
Another fantastic box set this year. Standout beer for me being the 004 Tropical Sour IPA.
Will –
Great range of beers from some of the best breweries in the UK, what more could you want!
Martin –
Great selection
mark –
love this concept some top beers need to be able to review separately!!!
Christopher –
a brewing masterclass … an all northern gem
James –
Interesting pack in 2018, but nothing quite exceptional in here
David –
Great selection of Brewery’s coming together for this release. Wylam are at the top of the game at the moment
Gareth –
Paul –
A lovely collection of collabs. I thought the sours were stronger than the darker beers on this occasion.
Mark –
Loved this, some wonderful beers from some top breweries.
Ben –
David –
Great selection and variety of beers. Lots of top breweries involved

A beautiful variety of beers showing the best the North has to offer. The Kettle Sour and Imperial Stout are the standouts.

Fantastic box. Best one, NP008!
Robert –
A solid series from Wylam and friends. Highlight for me was 007 and 008. Truly wonderful!
Mark O’Loughlin –
This was an very good collection of beers from the North’s best brewers. Each beer brought its own delights; the highlight being Wylam x Box Social DIPA.
Graham –
Some good, some great, some legendary, and one or two that just weren\’t quite my cup of cha – but that’s ok – I enjoyed trying them!
Jonathan –
Simon –
Great selection of beers. Highlights were the Northern Monk IPA and Buxton Imperial Stout collabs.
Wayne –
James –
All exceptional, well hopped and well balanced
Sebastian –

Mike –
This is an oustanding selection of eight collaboration beers. Highlight for me was the murky, hoppy, peppery number 6. At only 5% this pale ale, brewed with Hawkshead, would beat many stronger Vermont IPAs hand down. A close second was number 1, and imperial stout brewed with Buxton. Basically they were all great!
Luke –
David –
Everyone’s a winner!
Nathanael –
Marvelous pack! Every beer is fantastic! There was not one beer bad!
Martyn –
A really good collaboration series, showcasing some of the fine talents we have in the brewing industry. A very modern selection including IPAs, sours and imperials. Something for every palate.
Jamie –
Great bunch of beers.
Luke Marriott –

Alastair –
A good selection showcasing what the North of England can offer. Personal favourite was no.8, the DIPA with Box Social.
Alistair –
Great set of beers, didn’t find a bad one in the bunch, the IPAs in particular were great as come to expect from Wylam.

Couple of great beers but a bit underwhelmed
