Peanut Butter Jelly, double decker-style. Northern Monk took one of their earliest patron’s projects and ramped it up with Against the Grain from the U.S. The base is complex, with 9 grains used to deliver plenty of biscuit, nut and caramel flavours to the malt bill. Lactose adds extra body, while Simcoe hops add dark fruit, pine and berry notes. They doubled up the strawberry and raspberry additions before bringing in good old PB.
