I wish this was one of their core range. Could and would drink this time and time again.

Nice for a session IPA. Nice citrusy taste throughout.

Normally love the patrons projects but this was a bit too bitter for me

Hazy yellow with a huge frothy white head. Soapy citrus and apple aroma. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, light and refreshing citrus taste

You will not be disappointed by this! You would never guess it’s only 4.8%!

Nice example of a sessionable IPA

Sticky white foam. Nose has bright citrus. Lots of lemon and lime. Hint of pineapple and melon. Bready malt backdrop. Taste has a slightly curious, rubbery twang to it. Light bitterness overall. Some bready sweetness. Light to medium body. Foamy carbonation. More of the odd bitterness to finish.

Another decent patrons project release. A shade light on flavour but very good none the less.

Northern Monk are an exceptional brewery, but this is somewhat below par for them. It’s piney sure enough, but no more tropical than a palm tree in Brexit loving Margate. A little on the thin side.

This session IPA is part of Northern Monk’s Patron Project Series. Delivering a unique intense tropical fruit punch of citra hops, the relatively ‘old school’ robust grapefruit and spicy pine kick of Chinook for a silky IPA layered with fruit complexity and a zesty finish.
