Lemon and lime cordial, with a hint of coffee and slightly acidic on the finish.

Disappointing. Usually adore NM beers, but this was not one of their best. An experiment, of course – but not one that succeeded for me. Little of the advertised characteristics.

This one is really interesting, very sour, but coffee balanced it, very pleasant beer – 4.25/5
Really balanced, sour fruits and coffee, big berliner – 4.25/5

Average, too much lime taste needs to be dialled back and up the hops.

Fantastic sour beer – coffee & tart, but not as you know it

All the flavours are there but the coffee overpowers for me

A bespoke brew creatively led by North Star, the local indie roaster that Northern Monk have been working with for years. A little different to already done dark beers, this one utilises natural citrus notes found in low roast coffee beans, to make a super citrusy Berliner Weisse. Made with Kenyan Kagumoini coffee beans for their prominent raspberry and lemon notes.
