A strange one. Didn’t seem quite right – but not awful, as it’s NM and they know what they’re doing. But not one of my favourites from there.

HOME is a Leeds restaurant serving typical British flavours, presented in a modern and unusual way. This Indian Porter was inspired by a favourite dish on their menu; the idea was for the sweetness of the malt to rest nicely alongside the balance of flavours in the dish, making it delicious to drink alone or paired with food. The brew uses nine different malts for liquorice flavours and rich texture, while it is dry hopped with Mosaic, Columbus and Phoenix to offer hints of blueberry, pepper and molasses.
