Purists often moan about these stouts with adjuncts in. Quite frankly, you could hook them up to my veins. Admittedly that does somewhat negate the point but … whatever. This is thick, heavy, liquorice, toasted, sweet, deep, far-too-easy-to-drink, gorgeousness. It’s easy to forget how good Northern Monk’s stouts are.

Loads of rich deep flavour you would expect from a 13%er

What a collab, and what a beer, big , smooth flavours with vanilla, creme du cacao and weirdly butterscotch.. and I dont even like butterscotch! But what a combination. A truly great beer.

Northern Monk teamed up with Norway’s Lervig Aktiebryggeri to bring you Devil’s Delight Imperial Stout. This unctuous beer weighs in at 9% ABV and features additions of crème du cacao, vanilla, oats, dextrose and lactose, all shoring up the already hefty blow dealt by the malted barley, hops and yeast.
