Fairly well balanced but unsurprisingly very rich, at least Northern Monk seems to have tempered Brewdog's tendency to slap you in the face with a single flavour upfront with no lasting impact. The plum doesn't come through much as a flavour, more imparting a sweetness to balance the bitterness of the coffee and dark malt.

Overpowering plum bitterness and tartness, can't taste much of anything else.

Flavour doesn't work for me. Or perhaps 11% is just too much for my taste. Worth a try if you can handle it!
