Traditionally, Belgian farmhouse brewers used fermentation to preserve what they produced on the farm. Today, North End honours that tradition by preserving the deep fruity, tart flavours of blackberries by combining with spontaneously fermented wild ale. They source the fruit locally, and then age it with their beer in oak barrels for 8 months. They think it’s the perfect way to start Christmas morning, or any evening of the year.

An amazing beer, so sour in the front and then plenty of fruity just behind. Probably couldn’t find better in this style outside of Belgium.
