Hazy golden yellow coloured pour with a white head. Citrus fruity with some orange and lemon notes, some straw, yeasty linger, medium body, hoppy bitter finish.

This really surprised me, the hops seemed to add quite a nutty flavour profile. Nice to see a brewery with an innovative take on the IPA style using English hops rather than imports.

Not as good as other Mobberly beers I’ve had. Just seemed to have an overhelming ‘nutty’ taste.
In collaboration with Charles Faram the hop producer, Mobberley have created a New England IPA using some of their experimental and newly grown hop varieties. The all-English hops include Olicana, Jester, Godiva and CF160.
