A collaborative Double IPA brew with Magic rock’s friends from over t’hills, Cloudwater Brew Co. Golden Promise, Wheat, Oat and Crystal Malt were used for a smooth, golden, malty body. A combination of Magnum, Citra, Simcoe, Eureka and Mosaic T90 hops were used in the whirlpool and dry hopping, with additional Citra – ‘Cryo Hops™ Lupulin Powder’ added in the dry hop. Fermented with US ‘Double IPA’ yeast, the result is a massively fruit-filled DIPA with loads of Mango and Peach aroma/flavour and gravity-defying drinkability. Strap yourself in!
Limited to 4 per person.

this is one of those beers that is hard to write about. It’s a really good beer. It’s got massive flavours, my old mate Simcoe, it’s a stupidly drinkable 8.7%, it’s clean, a little bit sticky, it does everything right and nothing wrong… … yet … yet … it misses something that elevates it to that space in my brain that means this beer will make it on to lists. I couldn’t tell you what that something is, but it’s definitely not there. But it is a really good beer, and I feel bad about that.

Hot Damn! Its big! At 8.3% its definitely not hiding.massive hop flavours without the bitterness, but with a great malt balance. And its in a big assed 500ml can…more to love!

Big Dipper, big taste. Nice DIPA from two great breweries. Nothing groundbreaking but definitely delicious!
David –
Cracking dipa. Would have ordered more but was out of stock. Smooth, tasty and strong
Ben –
Wow, crazily good DIPA. So much mango and peach. Dangerously drinkable.
Dave –
Awesome. Despite the big names here, I didn’t expect too much and got a lot of flavour. Sweet and fruity, loved it.
Sam –
Good
Grégoire –
Good but it misses something for me
George –
Great fruity DIPA, plenty of body too which I assume is from the wheat and oat in the malt bill.
Stuart –
Never tried the original brew but this one was a lovely West Coast DIPA. Piney, hoppy, etc

You can really taste the alcohol in this one – it’s very tasty and full on. I prefer the Cloudwater DIPA to this one.
