More full bodied and creamy than any other tripel I’ve tried, with a cloudy dirty orange appearance. The flavours are caramel, honey, and orange peel with a sharp sweet, bitter and slightly dry finish which has this tasting like a tripel-witbier hybrid. Ambitious, different and very impressive.
Apophenia – The human tendency to seek patterns in random information. The strongest of Lost and Grounded’s core range was inspired by sipping (rather strong) beers and philosophising about life. A Belgian-style Tripel of a simple composition the palest Pilsner malt, sugar to lighten the body, and some hops to balance it out.
