First time I’ve tried this and I can see why it’s held in such high regard! Never have I tasted such complexity of flavour (without any of that thin wateryness associated with lower strength beers) at this strength. Good price too. A 4 pack of these will be in every order I place from now on.

I read the description, it held such promise. A nice beer to drink with dinner outside on a summer evening. It just didn’t live up to it. Sour grapefruit, not pleasant. I gave the other bottles away but received similar feedback.

Just a hint of brewed-in-bottle earthiness, but otherwise very accessible. Always looking for a good ‘mid strength’ beer – and this one goes down a treat in that category.
