Top brew from a top brewery with just the right abv to add enough gravity (see what I did there)

Nice. No frills bottle, but don’t let that put you off for something else in a pretty can! Bags of flavour and very drinkable at 5.4%.

Expect white grape, lychee and lemon. Bitter up front with a lingering sweetness. This is juicy but refreshing – a perfect summer pale.

I like ales From the Kernal. They make good beers that do exactly what they say. This is a hazy, yellow colour with a mildly citrusy, piney aroma. There’s an almost dryness to it that I think comes from the new world Nelson hops with a really nice aftertaste. It’s another really well balanced beer from a great understated brewer.

Another great Kernal beer, only had a few of these, but all have had a fanatastic hoppy taste. Would buy again.
