Dark as you like in the glass with a lovely nose. Malty, hoppy, chocolatey profiles. Well balanced overall and a lengthy finish. Loved it.

Interesting and complex. Smoky, caramelly, and fruity all at once, and then a strong marmite flavour at the very back. Almost impossible to describe, but very pleasant!

Aroma is dark malts, some mocha and fresh hoppy citrus. Smooth and somewhat oily mouthfeel. Taste is roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, liquorice and a hint of grapefruit. Roasty cocoa bitterness in the aftertaste.
A powerful 7.8% India Double Porter by the South East London brewers. Breaking from porter tradition, Kernel created this brew with Citra and Galaxy hops for tropical and citrus aromas combined with the rich, dark malts.
