This IPA is lovingly brewed by the fantastic Hop Hooligans.
This tasty brew comes in a 500ml can and is 6.0% ABV.
The good people at Hop Hooligans say:
IPA – New England
Water, Malted Barley, Malted Wheat, Oats, Hops (Idaho 7, Strata, Sabro), Yeast (London Ale III)
It’s been quite a long while since your mind was cloaked in this wonderful music – so intoxicating that you probably don’t even remember that feeble whisper from which it all started.
A certain state of bliss has now taken over, chipping all your worries away with a rigorous beat, crumbling
to bits the once heavy wheel that used to be your daily grind.
This euphoria keeps you far from the mono- chromatic mindset by which the other mouth-breathers simply abide.
But these self-medicated chill pills
come at a high cost.
We’ll get there, in due time.

This wasn’t for me, it was disappearing into gas as I drank it. I don’t know what it was or why but I was swallowing air essentially.

Just average

Very unpleasant taste. Not the juicy hoppy flavour I was expecting. It was sour (not good sour) and bitter. Maybe it was a bad batch? I couldn’t finish it.

I think there could be something a little wrong with Hop Hooligan’s beers. Within days of having a Stress Less delivered, the can literally exploded in my home. I contacted the brewery, who did apologise, but basically advised that if their beers are not kept refrigerated for even a brief amount of time, that they can be expected to explode at any time. I did find this quite alarming, as I had kept the can at a cool temperature, and it had only been with me for a very short time. I think it’s possible they may now have had other complaints as I noticed they’ve included a warning on their website. The brewery were polite, but I received no replacement or refund from them. I would advise anyone contemplating buying these particular beers to do so with extreme caution. I am surprised that it’s possible to have a product on sale that is quite clearly so dangerous, I feel very lucky to have come away unhurt.
