Nice

Arrived burst so this review probably isn't fair. Tasted acrid
Norman –
Excellent. Unusual but tasty.
Nick –
Hoped for a bit stronger taste of spice and ginger.
Diana –
Absolutely delicious ale with a lingering subtle taste of ginger. Pure delight!
Adam –
It’s thin but tasty. Can’t say much more than “Liquid gingerbread”.
Kathleen –
I really wanted to like this beer, but it was hard for me to drink. Not sure if it was too rich or what, but even after three hours I still had some left in the glass.
Adam –
A little too much of the spice flavour, ends up being quite floral, almost intensely so. Definitely one to share/drink in moderation.
Lee –
Down to my last bottle of this, may have to order up more.

The ginger is the right amount of spice warming and deep but not overpowering.

Yummy

Expected better . No real strong flavour of ginger or sweetness , very bland and thin for the ABV and price . Does not live up to the imperial stout description , just an ordinary stout .
Rodders –
Lyons gingerbread is the standard by which all gingerbread is judged: it's either better or not as good. Not that Lyons is the best gingerbread, far from it, it's just a widely available standard that can be used for comparison. So, Heaney, next time please use Lyons gingerbread to flavour your beer.

Liquid gingerbread – what’s not to like. A stunning imperial stout!

I love imperial stouts & ginger but this tastes like watery fake ginger. Not nice at all
Salvatore –
Muy spicey, need to be careful with how this is paired
BEN –
Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is cakey ginger and liquorice. Tate has strong ginger cake throughout with a bitter roast finish.

An interesting stout
