Quite thin but very drinkable. Citrus taste and quite roasty.

Not quite what I was expecting given the description. Was OK, but not much of a saison

3.5 stars. Subtle spice, I don’t get much in the way of a classic saison taste behind the spice. Decent.

A spicy aroma of orchard fruit and wheat. Pours black in the glass. When I first saw this, I was thinking not another dark/black version of a beer style that we don't need. But I was wrong, this is good and we definitely do need it. Starts carbonated with musky wheat and a muted charcoal taste that just stops short of being bitter or malty. In the background there's the earthy & sweet flavours of fermented apple that carry through to the finish. Really interesting and unusual.

Vaguely reminiscent of Dandelion & Burdock, in a good way

I don't drink saisons often but this is a great beer of its type and the darkness adds a pleasant twist

Doesn't really taste like a saison. Not complex enough.

Good dark beer. If you like dark beers you will probably like this. Just not to my personal taste, but a decent beer.

Dark, spicy, malty, slightly burnt sugar in aftertaste. Lively farmhouse-style stout/porter
