Flat pour. Sour aroma. Super sour palate! The raspberries come through but the sourness overpowers everything ? Very nice example of style although maybe not for me, so scored accordingly
Originally part of the experimental range from Hanssens (named experimental raspberry) this ale is now one of their regular features, and is made by fermenting with raspberries and maturing in oak barrels. It’s a sour but never too harsh brew, with very low carbonation levels and a balanced sweetness.
