This tasty brew comes in a 500ml bottle and is 8.1% ABV.

The Brewery says: Inherited from the German monastic brewing, the Starkbier tradition started in the 17th century during lent when monks were expected to fast. To respect the rules, they created a StarkBier – a strong bier – to provide enough calories and nutrients.
Today, the beers are usually shared at the Starkbierfest in Munich.
