Dark, dense holding head. Sour & slightly red wine nose. Medium mouthfeel. Fruity, sour palate. Pretty smooth but some booziness & drying feel kicks in on the finish ??

You get a nose full of peaches with this beer. There are so many flavours in this, it’s hard to know where to start! As a sour, it’s very restrained. There isn’t much of a tart flavour, it instead feels kinda spicy sour. The stout qualities of this are mostly earthy notes. Theres some big fruity flavours in this, much of which are from the Calvados barrels, which control most of the experience. At the end, they leave a very strong booze taste, to make you very much aware that this is over 11%.
