Nice and tasty, if a little unspectacular.

Here we are then, my first of this seasons break out style. A style that no ones seems to know what to expect from, or even particularly enjoy. I guess they are supposed to be the reaction to the all the sweet, juicy, soft, murky DIPAs. I sort of get that. Something a bit cleaner, crisper and more refreshing to cleanse the palette. This reminds me a lot of their sours that I’ve enjoyed recently. It has the same sort of flavour profile – clean, light, refreshing – but with a bigger hit of hops and, well, not sour. It looks the part with a very champagne fizz and clarity, but it didn’t have a massive snap of dryness. It was fine, but there wasn’t much to tempt me back, or to persuade me that Bruts are going to be long running thing.
Dynamo is a Brut Pale Ale. Fermented to a very low sugar level and dry-hopped with Citra and Galaxy, this is a dry, refreshing, champagne-style sessionable pale. The can artwork features Ramona, part of Gipsy’s marketing and events team.
