This double IPA has a hazy orange colour and dense bubbly white head with good lacing that’s reminiscent of a furious foaming wave. As fresh as the sea, the aroma and taste deliver big tropical fruits, sweet fruity malts and lots of pithy resinous fruits. It has a satisfyingly bittersweet balance and complex flavour, making it very drinkable for the mighty 8.5% ABV. This Irish brew won Beoir’s beer of the year 2014. This is an anniversary rebrew of an IPA many said set the benchmark for West Coast DIPA in this part of the world. Not to be missed!

More excellence from Galway Bay! Top DIPA, great depth of strength and flavour.
Garfield –
Graeme –
Grapefruit.
Max –
A hoppy little number that’s not overpoweringly sweet and is satisfyingly bitter
Tim –
Good but ABV also overwhelms the hops
David –
Clément –
Strong and hoppy, just like I like them!
Gary –
Loved it strong and sharp.
Sam –
not what I really expect from a DIPA. Not bad, but not great
Stella –
Such a good DIPA, one to order time and again!
Christopher –
Strong stuff
James –
POWERFUL, which i guess is why its called Of Foam and Fury. Tastes great, but the 8.5% volume is going to catch you out if you’re not careful.

Ben –
Lovely dipa! Not like your normal juicy dipa. Has a rich malty taste. Makes a nice change.
Christopher –

Great DIPA, lots of tropical fruit notes. Piney & resinous flavours with a decent bitterness. Slight booziness.
Giovanni –
Good DIPA
Derek –
This is a mid-golden to hazy light amber colour with white head. Tropical fruit, grapefruit and grain aroma. Sweetish taste with a big bitter finish. Good solid DIPA.
Elisabeth –
Dry & very grapefruity
Dave –
As described – good, but not fantastic.
Adam –
Good DIPA in a nostalgic way. Needs a bit more to it to compete now.
Joseph –
Brian –
It’s ok.
Chris –
Pretty tasty, but packs a punch! Nice bitter aftertaste.
Kyle –
Like a bipolar rabbit bounding through a field of barley, this beer hits you with a shovel of fruity fire.
Holly –
Great beer – tasty
Daniel –
Chris –
Loved this. 330ml is better for a DIPA – more breweries should do that.

Not the greatest DIPA, rich and pleasant taste.
Chris –
Yeah it was nice, I was expecting it to be overly strong, but it wasn’t. I could drink a few of these in row.
Ian –
Very tasty indeed – wish the can was larger, but suspect my head would regret it the next day.
Alexander –
Great taste. Love the artwork

Cormac –
First batch from the new brewkit and tasting superb. Handy 330ml can and a super smashable, legendary DIPA for under £5 what’s not to love?
Adam –
Matthew –
First I’ve had from Galway Bay and enjoyed it
Adam –
Not bad
Ben –
Galway normally produces some amazing beers, however, this one felt bit underwhelming for an DIPA. Still a decent drink.
Andrew –
Top class DIPA.
Anonymous –
Really nice DIPA, very hop forward but also juicy and dispite the ABV the alcohol doesn’t come through. Dangerously drinkable…
Craig –
Matthieu –
Very good West Coast DIPA
Michał –
2.5/5.0
Steve Pritchard –
Quality West Coast DIPA, resinous, piney but loads of fruity goodness.
