Althea is a modern American Pale Ale. Unlike many pales, Althea is low on bitterness, yet massively hoppy on the aroma. Named after one of our head brewer?s favourite Grateful Dead songs; Althea is a beer that can be enjoyed by the pint or by the glass!

First time sampling Galway Bay Brewery, not a bad start, nice and zesty, a little Hoppy too. A good session beer, nothing too fancy or is trying to be.

Decent enough American Pale that is good to drink doing other things. Like watching football. No concentration needed. Not bad.

Hazy, golden in colour. Citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Light malty and citrus fruit flavours, very nice.
