These 3 tasty brews comes in 500ml bottles and are 10.0%, 10.0% and 12.0% ABV.
“In 2018 we celebrated 5 years of Two Hundred Fathoms. To mark the occasion we reserved a portion of the 2018 Fathoms blend & re-casked it into last fill Bourbon & last fill Nicaraguan rum casks to age for an additional 15 months! After double-barrel ageing, we racked out the barrels & made the final blend & then split the beer into different tanks.
For Double Barrel Aged Reserve blend #1 we teamed up with our friends @calendar.coffee . We drink 10kg of their Teamwork Espresso per month here at the brewery so it was only natural to blend it with the beer. The legends at Calendar pulled espresso shots for TWO DAYS! The equivalent of one espresso shot in each bottle! Whiskey, Bourbon, Rum, Coffee Imperial Stout. Please welcome Two Hundred Fathoms Double Barrel Aged Reserve x Calendar Coffee to the world.
For Double Barrel Aged Reserve blend #2 we conditioned the beer on REAL Madagascan Vanilla Beans & REAL organic Toasted Coconut Flakes until it tasted 🔥🔥🔥. (No flavour extracts!) These additional ingredients are integrated artfully into the beer, never losing sight of the base beer & the profile achieved through multiple barrel aging & blending. They simply amplify the chocolate profile beyond where an all-malt mash could take you. The sheer amount of natural oils from the coconut contained within however has one downside – it makes foam disappear 😢. A small concession in the pursuit of flavour.
The third bottle included in the box set is a bottle of our Two Hundred Fathoms 2020 alongside our Rastal harmony stem glass.”
