Pretty lively pour. Horse blanket aroma like a Cantillon Geuze. Light on the palate…woody & yeasty. Not as sour or tart as a lot of “wilds”! Apparently it’s their 1st release? Good effort ? ??
The first release of the Eleusis project. Cosecha, is a saison-ish ale fermented with native yeast cultures from Ribera del Duero region vineyards. Made with Barley, Wheat, and Oat malts, it has a rich fruity aroma as well as notes of coconut, spices and white flowers. The three cereal base provides a smooth bready mouth combined with a fruity palate, that is enhanced by French oak and lees batonage.
