Strong dark chocolate aroma and flavour, along with the bitterness of the dark chocolate and the roasted coffee in a long finish which also features a slightly citrus sourness.

Great chocolade aroma, with coffie and roast notes. Beer is dry and crispy, though – pretty drinkable for a porter! It’s just 4,8% though – it doesn’t have much of a body. … If you look for session type porter, here you go.
Well, I prefer my beers not crispy like this.

I must calrify initially that I have always been a fan of a porter and a stout. So if this was half decent it was always going to get a good score.
Really enjoyed this with a great crisp flavour that manages to pack in lots of chocolate and coffee without being too heavy. Right up my street.

Coffee beans, malt and a touch of vanilla on the nose. Lovely dark colour, with a frothy head that doesn’t stick around. Smooth at the start, with the dark chocolate and hoppy flavour lasting until the end, when the coffee bean flavour hits you and sticks around in the aftertaste. A lovely porter, perfect with some salted nuts and dried fruit by a fire!

If your unsure of dark beers this will change your mind. Packed full of chocolate and coffee notes, but not to heavy!
A classic London style porter reworked with an indulgent twist by Hackney’s Five Points Brewing Company. Rich with chocolate, coffee and caramel aromas and brewed with British East Kent Golding hops, the smooth flavours of this dark beer are perfect for savouring slowly.
