Stunning, a real smooth, luxurious feel to this one. It took a while to make and you can tell in the drinking.

A slightly sweet beer with a fermented jam style flavour.

Not the best of barley wines. Five Points is a great brewery, but this isn’t where they shine.

Eau naturale. Unfiltered, unpasteurised deep golden, cloudy in appearance. No head and slight fizz. Smells of caramel, toffee, sweet with a slightly bitter finish. Great for a cold winters evening beside an open log fire

This managed to avoid the sickly sweetness of a lot of barley wines, it had a lovely orange flavour.
