Accidentally bought 2 raspberry beers, which usually would be a disaster as I hate those kinds of fruit flavours in beer usually. However, I really liked this one!

The first raspberry beer I’ve tried which doesn’t taste sickly sweet. This is sharp with the natural sweetness of raspberries, and does actually taste like cranachan!

Poor offering, confused can of beer. Tastes more like a sour than a pale ale. Feels like a beer made as an after thought. Its over sour and nothing else of any note.

Sweet fruited raspberry, only slightly sour and tart, definitely slightly cider-ish.

A Very fruity beer, raspberry heavy. A little like a fruit drink rather than a beer, it would not be out of sorts in a Belgian selection. Still, would drink a few in the sunshine.

Cranachan cracker, fantastic. This certainly won’t be everyone’s thing, but it’s mine. Lovely raspberry flavour. Very slightly tart and sour. A beer to savour, but as usual I’ve drunk it far to quickly (should’ve ordered more!).

Really lovely beer, the first taste is full of raspberries. Very refreshing and fruity but, I would warn that it isnt exactly a sweet beer. Half way through the can it becomes almost like a gose or sour. If you are looking for a fruity IPA this may throw you off, but if you enjoy slightly tart beers (as I do) then I would highlty recommend it.

If you are searching for a fruity summers day pale ale packed with huge amounts of flavour than the Cranachan Killer is a dead certain winner! This Pale ale is packed with raspberries so it almost resembles a fruity lager or cider. It has low levels of fizz from the start but is smooth, refreshing and sweet. We chose this today as we fancied something away from a malty, high hoppy flavour and it was a great decision.

2.5 Hmm… Not great. Wheat, lactose and oats make for a lovely consistency, but the dominant raspberry flavour and malty aftertaste don’t really mix.
